Big thanks to Plenty Magazine for featuring The Tour Diary on their Green Gear blog. It's still summer and there is plenty (oh, that's maybe a pun unfortunately) of time to still see the best America or anywhere has to offer. Really, we swear it's not too late to take a short vacation. We just went to Multnomah Falls with my folks and it was amazing! I got a root beer snow cone. I recommend any vacation that involves the eating of snow cones, especially root beer flavored (other flavors I recommend if root beer is not available: bubble gum, cherry, and strawberry). Have fun!

My brother George is on tour with his 7 Year Rabbit Cycle bandmate/former Deerhoof-er Rob Fisk. They're playing as COMMON EIDER KING EIDER and opening for their fellow 7YRC-ers Ches and Jamie in Xiu Xiu. Please go out and say hi if you can!

We are super stoked to be previewing the 3rd volume of our Little Otsu Annual Weekly Planner and taking pre-orders for it! Dan Black did an amazing job (with some help from Jessica Seamans) and we can't wait to see the finished product. It's being printed this month at 1984 and we're trying something new: offering both spiral-bound and perfect-bound! And those will be followed by a mini version. shop tour on Modish

Thanks so much to Jena at Modish for asking us to do a tour of our store for her new feature on indie shops! We answered some questions, Kirk took some photos, and Jena wrote some really nice things about us. Yay!

new exclusive notepads and the Non-Planner is back

We just received our shipment from 1984 yesterday of Keri's Non-Planner Datebook reprint with a new color scheme and LO store exclusive notepads by me, Jo, and Lart made from the margins of the Film Diary. Everything turned out awesome! When I tried to take some pics this morning with the sun, one of our cats wanted to get in on the action (or more that he wanted to bask in the sun and didn't care what was in the way), so he's making his blog debut.
